WHO ARE WE?

 

I’m Clare Mannion.

 

Professionally I’m a Female Wellbeing Coach. I’m the founder of She Is Strong Fitness, a thriving online community of amazing women, who I help work towards their health and fitness goals.  I also love working with women on a one-to-one basis, whether that’s personal training or wellbeing coaching.  My experience of working with women has led me to now specialize in working with women at the Peri to Post Menopause phase of their lives.

It is the BEST job in the world to be able to use my 30 years of experience to help women understand how to implement changes and THRIVE during midlife and beyond.  It’s absolute magic!  (You’re thinking, she’s not old enough, right? I started at age 17, it was all big hair and thongs back then, not anymore!)

Personally, I’m a Mum to two teens! Holly is 19, Luis is 16, both are students and yep, it’s blinkin’ expensive!  I’m married to Simon and we have a fur baby doggy called Milo who’s adorable!  I LOVE to cook, and I have tons of recipe books that I love to read cover to cover.  I adore doing anything active, open water swimming, hiking, DANCING lights my soul up (even though Roxy lovingly refers to it as my ‘Prancercise’ class, I think she’s a secret prancer).  My most treasured possession is Queen B… that’s my bike, I love to take her out to sail around the Cheshire countryside with the girls whenever I can, especially as it normally involves an amazing brunch too.

Professionally I’m a psychotherapist with a private practice in Chesterfield. I’m a multiple business owner and business coach, with a huge amount of tech skills (which is basically why Clare loves me!) Mindset, thought patterns, limiting beliefs; I LOVE helping women smash through their mental barriers, and reconcile the past where necessary! But I don’t make you dig around in the past if it’s not necessary – we’re forward-focused and look at where you are now – and where you want to be!

Personally, I’m a messy mum to 2 mad monsters – Charley and Finn, aged 7 and 4. I’m a happy wife, emotional empath, girl geek, sports superfan, book binger, website wizard and travel lover. I’m partial to a Pringle, but healthy at heart!

We’ve worked together for a couple of years now as She is Strong Fitness grew and grew. In 2021 we launched a group programme; PRIME aimed at women like you. Midlife women who are starting to think about, or bang in the middle of peri-menopause or menopause. Women who don’t know where to turn in the frankly obscene amount of information – a worrying amount of which is outdated or not scientifically backed.

PRIME was immensely successful; so much so that it made us start thinking about the gap. The midlife area that isn’t catered for, that isn’t talked about, that we work through silently, while often think we’re going mad!!

She is Strong Midlife fills that gap. Education, courses, coaching – we’ve got it covered for you, to give you back the control to actually enjoy your prime!
